Today we open up the day with everyones favorite...... FULLPIPES, to start we have to give a shout out to the legends.....Mount Baldy, Badlands, the Glory hole, the desert pipes, and the one in Texas from the old Santa Cruz vid....
To locate one of these elusive spots is a chore in its own, they come up only once in a while and you need to constantly be looking. Fullpipe riding is one of the benefits of dedication, the advantage of riding one of these beasts, comes from the need to continually search year after year. And if you are continually looking you will find! In Canada, the most common option is the wheat silo attack, but there have been cases where the odd full pipe rolls by on a transport, or you stumble on a concrete pipe manufacturer. These pipes may be a bit smaller but still provide the same speed and intensity of a larger one.
Once you have ridden a fullpipe, the need to ride one is in you forever, this will never go away, and the search will continue year after year. The rush of a no flat bottom pipe is like no other, and worth every minute of search time, and every slam to flat.
To wrap it up, we are all lucky to live in a time where skatepark builders recognize that a fullpipe is a huge asset to any skatepark, and year after year there are more being built in cities across the globe. and if you cant seem to find one for some reason, don't worry as per the 3rd video we have posted here, just go build one in your back yard.
