China Creek skate park Vancouver!

China Creek, is one of the oldest parks in Canada, how old? not sure and if anyone knows please add to the comments......Old enough that it was the old park when I was a kid.....regardless this park still conjures up memories of fresh tub line carves and tea cup boneless ones....

Located on Clark and Broadway in skate friendly Vancouver BC.... you have a perfect tub bowl with rounded concrete lip, perfect for carving and olling out of, then you have the infamous teacup bowl, made in the classic way with no coping, just a concrete rounded edge......my favorite!

It has been years since the last time I rode this park, but the sessions continue......thanks to the VSBC for rescuing this park from near destruction....

Home to the annual Jaks T.A. Memorial China Creek Skate Comp the second Saturday of September, China creek continues to draw the dedicated.

If you are ever in Vancouver head on over to Broadway for a trip back in time and if you are lucky a classic bowl session with some locals.
